"Swamp Beast"

TARAKA the swamp beast!

Its home are the swamp lands of Zeerah where it hides in his self digged mud hole.Its powerful jaw is strong enough to crack thick roots so that its able to
bury intself between the trees in the shallow bank areas. his back with its plant like tentacles always sticks out on the surface but is very hard to spot

Its pray are little creatures who pass through shallow water or halt to dip their jaws into Tarakas territory.

Ahh, ok, I see how you guys are gonna play this. Right, well here's my entry.

The SwampRusk. Few water dwelling creatures in Everwhen are more dangerous than the Rusk. The Swamp Rusk is no exception and is perhaps the most dangerous of all the Rusk families. It's unique camoflauge, quick speed and powerful jaws and tail along with a poison stinger make this beast a deadly opponant. Fortunatly they are solitary and perfer smaller prey.

Lol, beware the biscuit!

I was thinking of a Muskrat but switching the letters around you get Ruskmat so I shortened it to Rusk. A fictitious water dwelling creature in a world of my own imagining. Still, I kinda like the vicious biscuit thing. Reminds me of my rabbid dust bunnies that nest beneath my bed and come out only at night to feed on who knows what.

Well, maybe it could soak up all the water in the swamp, lol.

Dust bunnies - rabid ones - only eat other dust bunnies, its a known fact. Although you can only get that information from Dustbunnyologists, and even then they won't tell you openly - I had to eat one.

You know you can control those tendancies to eat humans no matter what their occupation. Have you ever heard of HuFu? Yes, HuFu, its a safer alternative to Human flesh. It's Tofu but according to recent studies nine out of ten cannibals agree it tastes just like the real thing. It might be worth considering.

Heres my entry for this week. He may not look scary, but thats because he's a magical swamp creature - the kind that looks cute, but could turn real nasty. Just don't piss him off and you'll be fine.

this is my first image posted on cgpad!! here's hoping i can keep this up.
any feedback is appreciated. im hoping to get back into the swing of things and get faster with my painting. this took me a looong time to paint....and i still need to work on it...someday...

Trogliosaur - ancient lizardmen legends speak of these giant carnivorous beasts that patrolled the borders of the swamp, keeping all outsiders from penetrating the sacred swamps and marshlands. extremely territorial, they naturally attack anything sensed as an intruder with vicious ferocity. while it was believed these creatures were now extinct, no one dares to spend too much time travelling the swamp lands finding out.
