Neil Blevins used to go under the moniker SoulBurn. Mostly digital (3ds max/photoshop) and some traditional media. Unique, sometimes disturbing.

He is also happy to share his knowledge with a lot of resources available directly or linked to from his site.

Todd Lockwood is pretty amazing, I love all of his covers for the Legend of Drizzt series by R. A. Salvatore.

It has to be said that he is THE MAN when it comes to painting dragons too.

Well, almost everyone has been named if not everyone, but I like these videos by a guy named Patrick at ubisoft, for Prince of Persia. Character speedpaintings. Very inspiring...
