Default The next day... :-/

I am just wondering... When I create something when I finish it I really like it, but the next day I look it I like it less than before, and the next day even less. Is this just me being not confident? well...maybe my creations are indeed bad..
Any thoughts on my problem maybe?
thanks

I have the same thing, its a wise move to leave a piece for a day then go back to it, fresh eyes always reveal more mistakes.

practice makes perfect. and tbh, I think everyone has it.
I have it even after an hour orso, then I'm like mwa this, that, etc.. could have been done better but then again I'm just seeing it as a learning experiance and try not to do it in my next painting.

Its perfectly natural. Its called, learning from your mistakes.

When we re-visit an image we created, the little bits and peices we now know we could do better or could have done better stand out more. See it as motivation instead.

You are only as good as your last image - so start another and keep all those mistakes and niggles in mind so that you can grow as you paint. :)

Personally if you like everything you do? Then you're not improving.

Even the greatest come back to their old work and go "hmm, I don't really like that, I should have..."

If amazing artists experience it as well? It's not really a problem.

if you work digital, make a function out of f2 and bind it to flip the canvas, its possible in both Painter and Photoshop, and any kind of 'rotation' that will make you see the piece fresh 'quickly' is really good.. ( Like in open-canvas where you can rotate it.. thats good enough =) )

The 'not liking it next day' comes from seeing the piece from one side the whole time..

You might be talking about 'not liking it because you know you could do better' but thats not the same as 'not liking it because some stuff looks weird that you didn't saw before'

one thing you can do too, is to leave the computer for an hour or so, or the piece in general, then go back to it, that gives you another chance to see it fresh before totally starting to hate it ;)
