Wacom also makes the Graphire, which is cheaper and still really good quality.

Any tabs better than no tab

I disagree Dile. I have a trust.

It's my first tablet, I think it is a great first buy, sturdy, durable, cheap (alot cheaper then Wacom), and as a first tablet it is more then enough.
Sure, I am thinking of buying a wacom, simply because it is better, but I certainly do not regret buying the Trust as a frst tablet. Not at all.

I agree with Colrouphobic - Trust are alright - had a 'trusty TB2100' for ages and never let me down.... in fact, I regret buying a Volito 2, lol [no it still doesn't work, haha]

well its name is Trust so it has to be trusty Anyway I sort of regret buying the Wacom volito2. its too small and well it was 50 EUR but still I bet I could get a Trust or Genius A4 tablet for 100 EUR and I've heard their quite good. Rightnow with no income (duh I'm a kid :D) the wacoms are in heaven

next buy for me is a A4 Trust or genius so go for it Sage!!! :D

the age old maxim comes to mind "its not the size that matters, its what you do with it"

I first had a Trust 1200 something or other, basically an A4 version. I changed mine pretty quickly as it didnt suit me nor have the features a cheaper Wacom offered. I bought a Graphire4 A6 size and yes it was a tiny tab but worked perfectly, offered everything I wanted.
Dont think 'bigger is better' but chose the best options your money will buy, also keep checking flea bay, you may just may catch a bargain.

very true Mull. Yet I have to say that I still feel its too small right now. My hand hurts after a while. I've also heard that the a4 is just too big for most people so I found this one AmazonAmazon whih is 8''x6'' which is quite good. sort of like an A§ times two or something

Well, I'm not sure if this means anything for you guys, but here's a bit abou customercare.

When I first got my tablet, the Trust, I was worried that the tips for it might wear down fast. I used alot of preassure when I first started out.
So I contacted Trust through their website and asked about places to get new tips. And voila, they sent me a bag of eight of them. Cheap stuff, so sure, easy customer care.

Yesterday I thought my kids had flushed/tossed the pen in the toilet and/or garbagebag, so I thought I lost my tablet.
I sent a question to the Trust people about the possibilities to buy jus the pen, as the expense for an entire tablet feels aot when you allready have one. This is the reply I got:

Quote:
Dear customer,
A free pen has been sent to you today.

Kind regards,
Liliane Loiseleur

Trust Customer Care

Also, I can personally vouch for the durability of it, it can take two young boys, aged between one and four, molesting it, barfing on it, banging it, and it still works.

Im not saying it is as good as the "twice the preassure, no-battery-superwacom", but I'm saying, for a starting tablet, when you have a situation where there is risk of the tablet getting into harms way, and when you want good customercare. Trust is a good choice...

I'll probably buy me a wacom later, once this is worn out...but for now, I'm just fine with it...

I must admit they gave me the same great service when I sat on my pen! Put it in my back pocket to go answer the door, sat down and *crack*... no more pen. lol.

Phoned'em and within two days I had a shiny new one - plus more free tips. Although I've only had to replace the tip once in over a year.

Thumbs up Re: Trust TB-4200

I know this thread hasn't seen any new posts in a while, but for those who may stumble upon this through Google or by some other means, I want to add to the list of recommendations for Trust's customer care. I've just received help from them regarding replacement pen tips (they've sent me some by mail) and I think the least I can do thank them is to vouch for the quality of their customer service. They answered quickly, too. And as far as their TB-4200 tablet, I can say it's very good for the price tag, so if you're looking for bang-for-the-buck, look no further. I've been using it for about a year now and I'm very pleased with it. If you want a good A4 tablet and can't afford an Intuos, this is a no-brainer - go for it.
Ok, now that I've thanked them... off to do some drawing .
